CNAW2News confirmed the identity of the LaFayette shooting suspect.
The shooting occurred last Friday night at a home near Alabama Avenue at 7th Street NE behind the LaFayette High School football stadium, which was occupied by attendees during the Lanett vs. LaFayette game.
According to the police, a 42-year old black male succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Following an investigation, the suspect, identified as 49-year-old Brint Bailey, was arrested and charged with murder.
The investigation remains ongoing.
