A man died Sunday night after a shooting at a south Columbus hotel shooting.
The shooting occurred around 7:20 P.M. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Budgetel Inn and Suites, located at 3170 Victory Drive.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says 31-year-old Xavier Trent Igus was shot and transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown campus, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect in the deadly shooting is still at large.
