Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, alongside their local, state and federal partners, announced the results of Operation No Compromise Phase I during a press conference Monday.

Last Monday, following a three-month investigation, investigators and specialized teams conducted 18 search warrants across Muscogee and Harris counties in Georgia and Russell County in Alabama.

During the search warrants, investigators seized 19 firearms – two of which were stolen, 14 vehicles, 2.2 pounds of cocaine, 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 105 grams of THC, 101 pills of hydrocodone, and other assorted pills and drugs. In total, investigators seized a street value of $126,321.00 in drugs, while also seizing $101,035.12 in U.S. currency.

Authorities also seized 46 grams of fentanyl, a step forward to prevent lives lost.
“Fentanyl continues to drive overdose deaths with more than 70,000 Americans a year — and that’s what’s reported,” Jeremy Dockins, the GBI Special Agent in Charge of the West Georgia Gang Task Force, said. “That’s on average 200 a day across the nation. That’s not just a statistic. That’s a national crisis.”
Drug Enforcement Agency officials said two milligrams of fentanyl is a lethal dose, and 46 grams is potentially 20,000 potential lethal doses.
“There are lives saved and there are families that don’t have to bury a loved one,” DEA officials said. “There are neighborhoods and communities that aren’t dealing with the sorrow of losing someone to a drug overdose or drug poisoning.”
In total, investigators seized a street value of $126,321.00 in drugs, while also seizing $101,035.12 in U.S. currency.
