Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on multiple counts of sexual exploitation of children.

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit and Collaborative Intelligence Group executed a search warrant on Monday, May 4, 2026, in reference to child sexual abuse material.

Joseph Roberts was arrested and charged with 5 counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.

Roberts was transported to the Muscogee County Jail without incident.

“The MCSO will not tolerate crimes of this nature,” the agency said. “Not on our watch! We remain dedicated to ensuring a safer Muscogee County for all Citizens.”
