Two people were injured in a late-night shooting at a Columbus apartment complex Tuesday night.

The shooting occurred at the Elizabeth Canty Apartments on Cusseta Road around 11:30 p.m. on June 3, 2026.

Officers and crime scene investigators were seen walking around the complex examining evidence, including shell casings and a black Nissan with at least two bullet holes.

More than 40 shell casings were visible in the area, indicating a significant exchange of gunfire. Investigators also examined a black Nissan that appeared to have been struck by bullets, with at least two bullet holes visible in the vehicle.

Authorities confirmed that two people were injured during the shooting. Both victims were transported for medical treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
