Columbus police are investigating a shooting in the Linwood neighborhood of the city.

The shooting happened in the 1100 block of 17th Street around 2:40 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

At least one person was reportedly shot. Their condition is unknown.

At least seven evidence markers were placed at the scene, with several shell casings across the roadway.

Crime scene investigators were seen analyzing a home, a backyard and vehicles. This is a developing story.
