LaGrange teen arrested on 14 Child Sexual Abuse Material charges following ICAC investigation

A LaGrange 17-year-old is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation by the LaGrange Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

According to the LaGrange Police Department, the investigation began on June 18, 2026, after detectives received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding the possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

On Friday, July 24, 2026, at approximately 9:30 a.m., detectives with the LaGrange Police Department, Carrollton Police Department, and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office ESD K-9 Unit executed two search warrants at residences associated with Hampton Malone.

As a result of the investigation, Hampton Malone was arrested and charged with:

  • Seven counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
  • Seven counts of Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Investigators said the case remains active, and additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
