A large law enforcement and first responder presence is underway at a LaGrange apartment complex during the late evening hours of Labor Day.

The presence is taking place at Brittany Place of LaGrange apartment complex, located at 1235 Hogansville Road near Sanford Avenue.

Residents of the complex reported hearing gunfire before law enforcement and other emergency officials responded to the scene.
