A 20-year-old is being charged following a Monday shooting incident in Columbus.
20-year-old Brayden Rush was arrested on Oct. 5, 2026, on charges of
Rush has now been charged with possession of marijuana with intent, possession of schedule I drug, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Rush went to Recorder’s Court on Oct. 7, where he pled not guilty of the charges.
The charges are connected to a shooting of a female victim on Chesterfield Avenue. The female was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
Rush’s case was bound to superior court. The Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit remains investigating the incident.
