A homicide investigation is underway after a 57-year-old man was found shot to death in a wood-line off of Lee County Road 140.

The investigation began when a 911 call was made around 4:26 PM central time where the caller reported to have found a body in a wooded area off Lee Road 140 Salem near Griffen Mill.
