At the time of its 2024 opening, the warehouse created 100 full-time and part-time jobs, including more than 100 driver opportunities.

This is the second workplace shooting this month in the city. On September 3rd, a man was shot and killed outside of Aludyne-Columbus Foundry.

The investigation into what led up to the Amazon shooting is being conducted by the Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.
