1 of 2

Happening today, a four-year-old boy diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma will spend the day with Sheriff Greg Countryman and his deputies.

Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman had received a call to action for an amazing and wonderful cause for four year old Armon. Armon has been diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma. He has a brain tumor in his brainstem, that is now unfortunately terminal.

“Armon’s dream is to become a law enforcement officer and his wish is to spend a day with the Sheriff, his MCSO Deputies and Correctional Officers, and of course, his 5-year- old brother Ashton,” MCSO said. “Due to the seriousness of Armon’s diagnosis, we have decided to move very quickly.”

Today, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM, Armon and Ashton will be escorted to the Columbus Civic Center by the MCSO for a Day with our Deputies. including an enjoyable time with their vehicles and gaming trailers.

“Afterwards, we will be doing a convoy with lights and sirens to escort Armon and Ashton to the Government Center for Lunch with the Sheriff and a Paw Patrol Pizza Party! Rumor has it, that even Chase himself from the Paw Patrol may be on site,” the sheriff’s office added.
