A Columbus police officer has been booked into the Muscogee County Jail Tuesday afternoon.

Jonathan Robertson, 23, was arrested after a warrant was obtained by Columbus police for a charge of burglary in the first degree, according to court records. Robertson is also charged with stalking – family violence and terroristic threats and acts. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on May 25th on Chattsworth Road.

Robertson was arrested today, May 27, and booked into the Muscogee County Jail. Robertson has served with the department since 2024, where he graduated from the police academy and received The Major’s Award and the “Top Gun” Award.
