    Crude oil spillage affects travel in 5800 block of Lee Road 188 in Loachapoka

    Lee County Emergency Management Agency, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Southwest Volunteer Fire Department, and Lee County Highway Department are on the scene of a hazardous material spill in the community of Loachapoka.

    The spill was crude oil and it occurred in the 5800 block of Lee County Road 188. The roadway is impassable due to the spill.

    You are asked to take an alternate route due to this incident. No other details have been confirmed at this time.
