Firefighters in Lee County are working to extinguish a mobile home fire in Beauregard.

The fire broke out at a mobile home in the 700 block of Lee Road 126, which is located in between Lee Road 165 and Lee Road 169.

Firefighters from Beauregard and Southwest Lee County volunteer fire departments, along with Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Lee County Emergency Management Agency responded to the area after dispatch was notified around 8:02 p.m. eastern time on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

When crews arrived, they located a fully involved house fire.

Multiple firefighters were extinguished the blaze, when a storm with strong lightning and intense rain came through the area. As of 9:00 p.m., the fire is out and crews remain working in the area despite the thunderstorm.

It appears everyone was able to get out, including at least two dogs. The cause of the fire is unclear.
