About an hour after that warning, Muscogee County was placed under the same warning from 6:30 P.M. until 12:30 A.M. EDT on Monday. The warning description, asks people in the warning area to move immediately to higher ground and avoid walking or driving through flood waters.

A Flood Watch was also placed into effect for all of the northeast parts of central Alabama through 7 PM CDT on Monday. The watch includes the following counties: Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Etowah, Jefferson, Lee, Marion, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Walker, and Winston.

If you have a report of flooded roadways or any weather-related incident, call officials first and then report it to us.
