Four injured after Opelika mobile home fire

Four people were injured in a mobile home fire in Opelika Tuesday morning.

First responders responded to the fire with reports of people entrapped at Oak Haven Trailer Park at 3503 Marvyn Parkway around 6:45 A.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

According to Opelika Fire Department officials, two adult females, one adult male and one juvenile female were injured in the blaze. The two adult females and one juvenile female were transported to East Alabama Health, while the adult male victim suffered significant burn injuries and was airlifted by Lifesaver 3 to UAB Hospital.

Authorities believe the man may be a neighbor or relative of the occupants. He reportedly broke through windows of the trailer in an attempt to rescue those trapped inside.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and has not yet been determined. Officials have not released additional details at this time.

Please keep those injured, the first responders who responded, and dispatchers who took the call in your thoughts and prayers.
