House fire on Edgewood Road in Columbus causes heavy first responder presence, road blockage

    CNAW Newsroom —
House fire on Edgewood Road in Columbus causes heavy first responder presence, road blockage

An ongoing structure fire near the intersection of Edgewood Road and Hilton Avenue in Columbus on Thursday afternoon.

Several Columbus Fire and EMS trucks, including Battalion 3, Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 6, Ladder 6,  Squad 6, and Medic 10, are on the scene.

Edgewood Road is blocked by Columbus patrol officers from Hilton Avenue to Ethel Avenue. Smoke is visible in the area.

Viewers tell me the house is vacant, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
