House fire on Lee Road 240 near Lee Road 208 in Smiths Station

Smiths Station Fire Protection District, Ladonia Volunteer Fire Department, and Salem Volunteer Fire Department firefighters are battling a late Sunday night structure fire.
The structure fire is taking place near the intersection of Lee Road 240 and Lee Road 208. It is unknown if anyone was injured, but according to a resident in the area, the homeowner made it out safely.
EAMC ETS, along with Lee County Emergency Management Agency and Lee County Sheriff’s Office, are on the scene as well. Lee Road 240 at Lee Road 208 is currently impassable due to emergency crews working the structure fire. Traffic traveling along Lee Road 240 will be diverted to an alternate path of travel.
