A Manchester woman is facing charges after she reportedly pushed her toddler out of a two-story window.

Police responded to the 2-year-old child who had fallen from a second-story window on October 17, 2025, at Cross Creek Apartments on Warm Springs Highway.

Following the investigation, it was determined the mother had intentionally pushed her 2-year-old child through the window.

The child was airlifted to a trauma center for emergency medical treatment and was later cleared by the hospital and is safe.

The mother, identified as Angel McVey-Dowis, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Cruelty to Children in the First Degree.
