Mobile home catches fire on Lee Road 288 in Smiths Station

A mobile home is a total loss tonight after catching fire in Smiths Station.
The fire occurred in a mobile home park in the 200 block of Lee Road 288 in Smiths Station.
Smiths Station Fire and Rescue, Salem Volunteer Fire Department, Beulah Fire Department, and Lee County Sheriff’s Office, and Alabama Power were all on the scene.
Our CNAW reporter saw flames reaching power-lines and trees in the area of the mobile home.
Smiths Station Fire Chief Blake Green says no injuries occurred from the fire and the sheriff’s office is still investigating the fire to determine the cause.
