Multiple vehicle crash occurs on I-185 near JR Allen in Columbus

A multiple vehicle crash involving at least two vehicles has occurred on Interstate 185 southbound right before the cloverleaf interchange to get on/off JR Allen in Columbus.
Columbus police officers, Muscogee County sheriff’s deputies, Department of Transportation, and Battalion 2, Engine 3, Engine 8, Ladder 8, Medic 5, Medic 8, and Squad 11 with Columbus Fire and EMS are all on the scene, according to video sent to us by News 2.
If you are on northbound side, you can exit I-185 at Exit 8 to avoid the crash site. If you are on southbound side, you can exit at JR Allen.
At least one person was transported to Piedmont in stable condition.
