The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Muscogee County Tax Commissioner Lula Huff, to request an investigation into possible theft and criminal activity regarding an employee in her office, on March 18th, 2022.

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Bureau conducted a thorough investigation and a warrant was issued for the arrest of Ayoina Shipp for Theft by Conversion (Felony), in that she unlawfully and knowingly took and converted property tax payments totaling over $10,000.00, while employed at the Muscogee County Tax Commissioner’s Office.
