A recovery mission was underway for the Talley’s body by Troup County Fire Department, Hogansville Police Department, Troup County Sheriff’s Office, AMR medical services, Department of Natural Resources, and the Columbus Fire and EMS dive team. After Talley was recovered, he was pronounced dead at 10:45 P.M. and will be transported to GBI for an autopsy.
