Smith’s mugshot

41-year-old Nicholas Caleb Smith was arrested on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, for nine counts of possession of child pornography, which is also known as child sexual abuse material.

Smith was given a $45,000 bond, and appears to have bonded out of jail since his arrest. At 12:03 p.m. today, Smith’s mugshot was available for the public. As of tonight, the mugshot is no longer posted, which indicates he has bonded out.

Smith was previously arrested in February of 2021 for sexual abuse of a child in the second degree. Details surrounding his latest arrest is unclear at this time.
