Salem man arrested for two shooting incidents at Lee County grocery marts

CNAW Newsroom —
Salem man arrested for two shooting incidents at Lee County grocery marts

A Salem man was arrested by Lee County investigators after he was identified as a suspect in two shooting incidents which took place at separate grocery marts in Lee County.

The investigation began on February 11th when Lee County deputies received a report in reference to a fight in the parking lot of Springvilla Grocery that ultimately led to one of the subjects involved firing a weapon into a vehicle that was leaving the scene. “Investigators recovered video evidence that identified 33-year-old Timothy Scott Hall Jr. actively fighting with another male subject and  when the fight was over, the male subject ran to his vehicle and proceeded to drive away.”

Evidence indicates  Hall fired into the vehicle as it was leaving, striking the driver side.

Lee County investigators then discovered he was involved in another shooting incident which took place at M&M Grocery on February 24th.

A search warrant was conducted the same day at Hall’s residence in the 800 block of Lee Rd. 240 in Salem. Evidence was collected and Hall was arrested at the scene for Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle. “He has since been released after posting bail in the amount of $ 50,000,” the release said.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 334-749-5651 or Central Alabama Crime Stoppers at 334-215-STOP (7867)
