Six-year-old child suffers superficial burns after early morning fire in Smiths Station

CNAW Newsroom —
Six-year-old child suffers superficial burns after early morning fire in Smiths Station

A young child is OK after an early morning house fire in Smiths Station, Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones says.

Sheriff Jones said they responded to a call reporting a home on fire earlier this morning on Lee Road 304, off of Lee Road 246.

The fire involved a residence and vehicles were involved. A six-year-old child suffered superficial burns but is OK.

LCSO investigators and State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the circumstances.
