During the investigation that began on March 2, when a male victim was shot at a location in the 500 block of Shelton Mill Road, Wilson and Blalock were developed as suspects, along with Melvin Sabas Alexander Hernandez Davila who is still wanted on outstanding warrants for attempted murder and robbery first degree.

“Investigative developments led to Auburn Police Department detectives obtaining multiple search warrants,” police said. The search warrants were executed at two residences located in Auburn and a business located in the 1600 block of Lee Road 10.

During the search warrants, they recovered items of evidentiary value from each location, and additional analysis and investigative actions are ongoing.

Wilson and Blalock were transported to the Lee County Jail and held without bond pending further judicial review.
