Valley man charged in Lee County shooting

CNAW Newsroom —
Valley man charged in Lee County shooting

Lee County investigators have arrested a man in connection to a February shooting.

Deputies responded to the incident on February 25th, 2025 at approximately 11:32 PM, in 200 block of Lee Road 375 in the Valley community of Lee County. When deputies responded, they found a male subject laying in the yard and waving his arms around with visible injuries on his right side to include his torso, leg, arm and hand that all appeared to be from birdshot from a shotgun.

“The victim stated he was shot by his next door neighbor who he had been in a verbal altercation with earlier in the night,” authorities said. EMS arrived on the scene and transported the victim to Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus Georgia to be treated for his injuries.
