    Vehicle overturns on JR Allen bridge going into Phenix City

    A massive traffic backup is ongoing for miles after a late Thursday afternoon motor vehicle accident.

    The accident left a vehicle overturned in the middle of the JR Allen bridge at the Alabama / Georgia line.

    Columbus police, paramedics, and firefighters are on the scene working the crash. One person was reportedly injured.

    Please avoid the area.
