VIDEO: Year 28 of Cops, Kids, and Christmas
LIVE NOW
Cops, Kids, and Christmas has marked 28 years of excitement, joy, happiness with the Karl F. Eidam Lodge 9, Fraternal Order of Police.
The event is to make the holidays a little brighter for some of the less fortunate among us.
Throughout this festive season, the Law Enforcement Officers around the #ChattahoocheeValley identified families in need and filled out submission forms to nominate kids throughout the month of November.
75 children are then selected from the nomination forms and have the opportunity to participate in this heartwarming Christmas event.
Today, Law Enforcement Officers from all over the Chattahoochee Valley met up and headed in a convoy full of police and children to the Whittlesey Boulevard Walmart, spreading Christmas cheer along the way.
CNAW2News.com reporter Colin Scroggins had the opportunity to ride alongside Muscogee County School District Police, capturing the holiday spirit.
