The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office says a wanted fugitive from New Jersey has been arrested in Muscogee County following a collaborative operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

According to the sheriff’s office, the arrest happened Wednesday, May 27, 2026, when the agency’s Collaborative Intelligence Group worked alongside the New Jersey State Police to locate and apprehend Trevion Scarbrough.

Authorities say Scarbrough was wanted by New Jersey State Police on several outstanding charges, including:

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) served the felony warrants and took Scarbrough into custody without incident, according to officials.

In a statement, the sheriff’s office said it remains committed to working with partner agencies to keep Muscogee County safe and to target violent offenders and criminal activity.

“We won’t stop until the criminals do,” the agency stated in its release.
