CNAW2News began in 2019 as a community Facebook page dedicated to keeping residents informed. It was founded by Colin Scroggins, who was just 13 years old. Growing up in the community, Colin developed a passion for crime and public safety reporting that quickly evolved into a commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and reliable local news.

Today, CNAW2News has grown into one of the region’s leading independent digital news organizations, serving communities across West Georgia and East Alabama.
