A 35-year-old Columbus man is behind Columbus jail bars after allegedly shooting two people on Knox Street in the Oakland Park area of Columbus.

Anthony Lee Williams was charged with aggravated assault, discharging a firearm in city limits, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, receipt, possession, transport of firearm by a convicted felon, theft by receiving stolen property – firearm and willful obstruction of law enforcement.

The two people that were injured refused transport by medics. The two were out of seven people shot in the city within 3 hours.
