Lee County law enforcement officials are working a robbery call in the southeast part of the county, just outside City of Smiths Station city limits.

Deputies responded to a robbery call at the Short Stop gas station, located in the 7600 block of Lee County Road 240. Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones confirmed authorities were receiving conflicting information, but later added a suspect was taken into custody at the business. The suspect was not armed 

The suspect has only been identified as a 16-year-old juvenile. No one was injured during the robbery. 

The case will be headed to juvenile court. This is a developing story and no other details have been confirmed.
