Individual in custody after making threats on social media to Jordan Vocational High School, school officials say

An individual is in custody after a threatening social media post was uploaded late Friday night, school officials said in an email Saturday.

School officials say it was discovered that a student was making threats on social media regarding Jordan Vocational High School College and Career Academy.

MCSD Police were immediately notified. After an investigation, an individual is now in custody. “We will continue to monitor the situation, and the investigation is ongoing,” officials said. “We encourage our parents to encourage their students to immediately report any suspicious or threatening activity to the school administration or a staff member and not to share or repost on social media.”
