LaGrange police are investigating a late Sunday night shooting on East Render Street which left one person injured, and two rounds of gunfire entering a home.

LaGrange Police responded to the 200 block of East Render Street in reference to shots fired on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at approximately 9:32 P.M.

Upon arrival, officers located a 20-year-old male subject suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. Emergency Medical Personnel tended to the victim on scene and then transported him to the hospital where he was stabilized. The victim was later flown by helicopter to a trauma facility.

“Further investigation also determined that at least two rounds that were fired entered a residence in the 200 block of E. Render Street where a 59-year-old and 77-year-old resided,” police said.
