CTV BEAM employee leaving Christmas party identified as homicide victim at Phenix City bank

A CTV Beam employee is the victim of a deadly shooting, Phenix City police say.

Officers found a male suffering from a single gunshot wound in the rear parking lot of the Synovus Bank on 13th Street after they responded to a person shot call on December 12, 2023 at approximately 7:20 PM.

The victim, later identified as 23-year-old Ryan S. Boles, was pronounced deceased at 9:24 P.M. on the scene. Boles, who was a CSU graduate and an employee of CTV Beam, was leaving a Christmas party when the incident occurred, Captain Skip Lassiter with the Criminal Investigations Division of Phenix City Police Department.

The Phenix City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and started an investigation.
