Crews with Opelika Police and Fire are on scene of a plane crash near Auburn University Regional Airport.

The plane crashed near the dead end of Watson Street.

Opelika police said there was only one occupant in the plane and are being checked out by medical personnel at this time with non-life threatening injuries.
