Smiths Station Fire and Rescue are working a structure fire call Thursday afternoon.

The fire occurred near the intersection of Lee Road 209 and Lee Road 476. Smiths Station Fire Chief Blake Green confirmed three apparatus were the scene of the fire.

“Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the structure, but did not report any flames visible inside,” Chief Green added. “They are investigating to find the source and extinguish any fire/hot spots.”
