Violent Crimes investigators remain looking for clues in a deadly shooting which occurred overnight in the city of Columbus.

Police responded to reports of an incident in the 800 block of Morris Road around 12:49 A.M. on Monday, April 15, 2024. Officers found a woman, later identified as Jakesa Josey, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Josey was pronounced dead at 1:28 A.M. on the scene.
