An interesting motor vehicle collision has occurred on JR Allen Parkway (U.S. Highway 80) in Phenix City just near the state line.

According to what CNAW2News.com has been told by several sources, a box truck left the roadway of U.S. Highway 80/JR Allen Parkway and crashed several feet below almost into the Chattahoochee River.

Officials from Columbus and Phenix City are on the scene. It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. This remains a developing story.
