2nd arrest made in Phenix City armed robbery

Authorities have made an additional arrest in a Phenix City bank armed robbery.

The robbery occurred on December 27, 2024, at Phenix Girard Bank located at 3650 South Railroad Street. 

After the robbery, authorities from Phenix City and Columbus arrested Kevin Robert McDonald and was placed into the Russell County Jail.

“A white male subject entered the branch, produced a handgun, and demanded money,” police said. “An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was taken from the bank, and no injuries were reported.”

Following the investigation, it was revealed that a female, named Lindsay Jenkins, was also involved in the robbery. She has been arrested and charged.
