While October brings spooky fun and trick-or-treating, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office has been focused on serious work: removing drugs and weapons from our streets to keep the county safe.

On Halloween, Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office announced they had seized $361,597 worth of illegal drugs off the streets in just 30 days.

Over the past 30 days, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office ‘has remained committed to ensuring that we have a safer Muscogee County to live and work in for those we help to serve and protect’, the agency said in a press release.

“By removing illegal drugs from our streets and illegal firearms from the hands of those who should not have them, the MCSO will continue to make impactful arrests to interrupt criminal enterprise in our county,” the agency said.

Over the past 30 days, the MCSO Collaborative Intelligence Group and MCSO Special Operations Unit have collectively seized the following:

• Fentanyl – 330.7 grams (street value $132,280.00)
• Methamphetamine – 2.1 pounds (street value $91,400.00)
• Cocaine – 1.3 pounds (Street value $58,888.00)
• Marijuana – 9.4 pounds of marijuana (street value $42,999.00) • Xanax -1,300 pills (street value $33,000.00)
• Oxycodone- 106 pills (street value of $2,120.00)
• Adderall – 43 pills (street value of $860.00)
• Ecstasy – 5 grams (street value $50.00)
• Firearms Recovered – 9
• Stolen Vehicle recovered: 1
• US Currency Seized: $140,380.00

12 arrests were also made over the span of 30 days.

Carlos Alberto Recinos-Juarez is charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

Travis Reeves is charged with Trafficking
Methamphetamine, Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule IV with Intent – 2 counts, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon – 3 counts, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Possession of Marijuana.

Anquantio Smith is charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to distribute, Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Drug-Related Object.

Garrett McKay is charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession Of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession Of Marijuana.

Jacorey Ewing is charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession Of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession Of a Schedule 2 With Intent, Possession Of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession Of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Drug-Related objects, and Pills Not in Original Container.

Eric Humphries is charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession Of Firearm During the
Commission of a Felony.

Elijah Smith is charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine or Amphetamine, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony – 2 Counts, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon = 2 Counts, Possession of Drug-Related
Objects, Criminal Use of an Article with an Altered Identification Mark, Violation of Probation, Possession of Receiving Stolen
Property, and Obstruction.

Arthur Stewart is charged with Possession of
Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Stephen Welch is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.

Celine Sheets is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.

Krystal Foxworth is charged with Felony Bench Warrant and Possession of Methamphetamine – 2 Counts.

Marcus Tucker is charged with distribution of obscene material.

“Our work is not finished,” said the agency. “We won’t stop until the criminals do!”

Authorities believe additional charges and arrests may be pending.
