Troup County first responders are on scene of a serious crash Saturday night.

The crash occurred on Interstate 85 Southbound between the Lafayette Parkway exit and Upper Big Springs overpass around 9:30 P.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

A van was reportedly involved. Injuries have been reported. Drivers are asked to avoid this section of the intersection while authorities work the scene.
