Lee County inmate facing new charges after investigators find evidence of electronic solicitation of a child

A Lee County inmate is facing new charges after electronically soliciting sex of a minor.

The investigation began on January 23, 2026, the Lee County Detention Center investigations unit received information about an inmate in the Lee County Detention Center soliciting a minor child under the age of 18.

Investigators recovered evidence confirming the allegations.

The inmate, identified as 18-year-old Jordan Mikel Bulger, of Opelika, was charged with one count of Electronic Solicitation of a Child, a class B Felony with a $30,000.00 bond.

He remains in the Lee County Detention Center with no bond due to unrelated charges including FTA for Assault 1st Degree and FTA for Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm.
