A manhunt is underway after two inmates escaped from the Sumter County Jail.
The inmates, identified as 20-year-old Rickey Martin and 21-year-old Kentravious Holmes, escaped custody around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026.

Martin is described as a black male, 20 years of age, 5’-4” in height, weighing 120 pounds, with un-twisted dreads.

Holmes is described as a black male, 21 years of age, 5’-8” in height, weighing 155 pounds, with un-twisted dreads, and multiple tattoos on his face and neck, including a “$” sign, a broken heart, and “Baby Kay” over his right eye.
Both inmates were in custody on multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, and Murder.
