The Muscogee County School District says an update will be shared with staff, students and parents today concerning their plans ahead of severe weather Monday morning.

They say district leaders are actively monitoring weather conditions and remain in close communication with local weather officials.

A decision will be announced no later than 5:00 p.m. regarding any adjustments to the school district’s schedule.

“We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and school community,” the district said in a statement.
