A tornado watch has been issued for our entire coverage area.

The watch includes Barbour, Chambers, Lee, Macon, Russell, and Tallapoosa counties in east Alabama and Chattahoochee, Harris, Meriwether, Muscogee, and Harris counties in west Georgia.

The watch, issued by the National Weather Service, was issued around 4:10 a.m. eastern time and is in effect until 10 a.m. eastern time.

A few tornadoes are possible. Damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH and isolated hail up to a quarter size are possible
