Juvenile arrested after making threats to LaGrange elementary school

A juvenile is facing charges after making a threat to a LaGrange elementary school.

Police say they began investigating after officers received information of a threat to Clearview Elementary School.

During the investigation, police determined the juvenile made threats to the school through a social media account.

The juvenile was identified and arrested on the charge of terroristic threats.

“The juvenile was not found to be in possession of any weapons, and the investigation does not indicate that there are any active threat to any Troup County Schools,” police said.
